"In December 2006, Eric was an important part of the UCSB men’s soccer team that won the NCAA national championship. Eric was talking to MLS teams about his professional career. He was then drafted in the third round of the 2007 MLS supplemental draft by the Kansas City Wizards. At a regular college party, Eric met a girl [Jane Doe] and proceeded to kiss th
e girl but then told her that he wasn't interested. note: the victim's boyfriend saw her walking with Frimpong that night and got jealous. Eric went on his way until the next day, the police come searching his home. The girl told her father that Eric took her to a nearby beach and raped her. This isn't unusual, Eric could've been lying, EXCEPT "She alleged a violent attack on the beach that left her covered in sand, yet the first person she saw testified he saw no sand on her. Eric had no scratches or abrasions on his body nor any sand on his black skin and hair. It was hours before she reported the alleged rape".
How could she possibly have recalled what happened?
[When the DNA test results came, Eric's DNA
hadn't been found on the girl's clothing or body]
Also, semen found on Doe's underwear didn't match Eric's -- but it was a match for that of Benjamin Randall, Doe's sexual partner throughout her freshman year. Despite having DNA evidence matched to him, Randall was never a suspect. She also claimed that Eric had bit her, and later at his trial, it was proved by a Doctor that the bite marks were not those of Eric Frimpong.
"After reading about Frimpong's arrest, another student came forward claiming that she too had been assaulted by him. This new Jane Doe told police that a few weeks before the rape, he had acted aggressively toward her, grabbing her buttocks and tackling her on the beach. The DA used the accusation to charge Frimpong with misdemeanor sexual assault, which made for a second count at trial." -
[ again, no proof . ]
None of it kept Frimpong from graduating in June 2007.He stood in court and testified in front of an all-white jury, as well as an all-white judge.
Sadly, Judge Hill who ruled over the case was unmoved by all the pleas and counter attacks and EXTREME lack of any real evidence. He began the hearing by saying that in his 27-year career, "I've not seen a rape case with so much incriminating, credible and powerful evidence," and ended it.
Three days later, he sentenced Frimpong to six years.

Okay- who the fuck was Eric's lawyer?!?!?!? This is why i cant wait to finish law school... so much injustice and so many people going to jail without enough evidence. Sad to say that there's still a lot of racism and prejudice going on. My spidey senses is telling me that these two women were white.
I hope he appeals this and win.
